NOS Alive is the most important Portuguese festival and takes place in the Passeio Marítimo de Algés, with direct transport to the capital. This year, their headliners include The Strokes, Florence + The Machine, Metallica and Imagine Dragons. As for Portuguese music, the return of Da Weasel, an iconic band from the beginning of the millennium, stands out.
SUPER BOCK SUPER ROCK, from July 14 to 16
In the Herdade do Cabeço da Flauta, in Meco, a short distance from Lisbon, SBSR returns. In a mix of beach, countryside and fun, this year's highlights go to Spanish musician C Tangana, Foals and ASAP Rocky. It is a historic festival, one of the oldest in the country and that is reinvented year after year.
SOUND GARDEN, from September 2 to 4
In the gardens of Eduardo VII Park, electronic and futuristic music at the end of summer. Gonçalo Neto, Quantic, Cvlt and Acid Cell are the headliners of this specialized festival.
